Snowflake Builds Unified AI and Data Control Plane

Snowflake is expanding its enterprise AI platform with updates to Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex Code, positioning itself as a centralized control layer for the agentic enterprise. New integrations connect to Gmail, Google Calendar, Jira, Salesforce and Slack via the Model Context Protocol, while an iPhone app extends capabilities to mobile users. Cortex Code, now used by over half of Snowflake's customers, gains support for external data systems including AWS Glue, Databricks and PostgreSQL, plus integrations with Visual Studio Code and Anthropic's Claude Code. Over 9,100 customers use Snowflake's AI products weekly across analytics, customer service and manufacturing.
