Proofpoint adds AI tools for MSP Microsoft 365 security

Proofpoint has launched four new Microsoft 365 security features for its MSP Platform, targeting managed service providers and small and midsize businesses. The additions include Tenant Risk Exposure, a dashboard mapping permission and sharing risks across Microsoft 365 tenants; AI-explained email verdicts in Email Live Tracking; security awareness training extended into Microsoft Teams via an AI coach called AI.MY; and a conversational AI assistant built into the Proofpoint 365 Total Protection control panel. More than 12,000 managed service providers serving 125,000 customers are expected to receive the features in the fourth quarter.
