Salesforce acquires Braze for $5.66 billion cash
Salesforce announced plans to acquire marketing automation provider Braze for $5.66 billion in cash, valuing shares at $47.5, a 58% premium over its last closing price. The premium reflects Braze's strong performance, including 26% year-over-year revenue growth to $227.2 million last quarter and nearly quadrupled adjusted operating income. Braze aggregates customer data from over 190 connectors, segments audiences, and uses its BrazeAI tools to automate personalized campaigns across web, mobile, SMS, and WhatsApp. Salesforce plans to integrate Braze's technology into its Marketing Cloud platform. The deal is expected to close in Salesforce's fiscal year 2028.
