Asana buys StackAI to power AI agent workflows
Asana has acquired StackAI, a no-code platform for building AI agents, in a deal that extends Asana's ability to run automated workflows across enterprise systems including Salesforce, Oracle, DocuSign and AWS. Financial terms were not disclosed. StackAI founders Tony Rosinol and Bernard Aceituno, both MIT graduates, join Asana as part of the deal.
The acquisition complements Asana's existing AI Studio and AI Teammates products by adding cross-system execution capabilities. Asana also reported strong fiscal Q1 2027 results, with revenue rising 10% to $205.1 million and adjusted earnings of 10 cents per share, beating analyst expectations. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to between $855.5 million and $863.5 million.
