Red Hat and Nvidia Partner to Secure AI Agents
Red Hat and Nvidia expanded their collaboration to help enterprises secure autonomous AI agents, announced at Nvidia's GTC event in Berlin. The partnership combines agent runtime controls, model inference software and hardware support under the Red Hat AI Factory with Nvidia. Security controls are placed outside the agent in the runtime and infrastructure, using Nvidia's OpenShell sandbox and Sentry framework on BlueField data processing units. Sentry can quarantine a compromised agent in milliseconds. The companies also announced joint support for Nvidia Nemotron models and preparation for the upcoming Vera Rubin hardware platform.
