Nvidia RTX Spark chip reinvents the PC
Nvidia has unveiled the RTX Spark superchip, designed to embed personal AI agents directly onto laptops without cloud computing. The chip offers up to 1 petaflop of compute and 128GB of memory, enabling AI to autonomously carry out tasks across applications without mouse or keyboard input.
CEO Jensen Huang unveiled the chip at Computex in Taiwan, calling it the biggest PC reinvention in 40 years. The chip will feature in laptops from Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI and Microsoft, running exclusively on Windows. Nvidia shares rose six percent following the announcement.
