Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano 2 Doubles Edge Robotics Compute

Nvidia has launched the Jetson Orin Nano 2, an entry-level edge robotics computer delivering 78 trillion operations per second, 8GB of memory, and an eight-core CPU. It doubles the compute capacity of its predecessor while consuming 40% less power in 15-watt mode. The device is designed to run AI models locally on drones and lightweight robots without relying on cloud connectivity. Partners including Wing Aviation are already integrating it for autonomous drone delivery. The Orin Nano 2 will be available as a module and developer kit in the first half of 2027.
