Groundcover links AI coding agents to production observability
Observability startup Groundcover has launched agent-to-agent observability, letting external AI coding agents such as Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's Codex, Cursor, and AWS Kiro delegate production investigations to Groundcover's own agent. Outside agents can pull logs, traces, and Kubernetes events directly via Model Context Protocol tools, or submit vaguer problems as asynchronous Agent Tasks, receiving a root cause analysis or draft dashboard when complete. Inside Groundcover, engineers can steer investigations in real time or summon the agent in Slack incident threads. All capabilities run on a bring-your-own-cloud architecture, with customers billed per node rather than by data volume.
