CoreWeave Validates Nvidia Vera Rubin Rack-Scale AI System
CoreWeave and Nvidia have completed the first bring-up and validation of the Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 on CoreWeave Cloud, marking a significant shift in AI computing architecture. The system packs 72 Rubin GPUs, 36 Vera CPUs, and 260 terabytes per second of NVLink 6 bandwidth into a single rack, exceeding total global internet data bandwidth. The announcement introduces new infrastructure tools including Valvey, a software-defined liquid cooling system, and Racky, a unified rack control appliance aggregating power, cooling, and environmental data. The architecture is designed to support agentic AI workloads that require continuous, large-scale reasoning and production inference without interruption.
