Anthropic Launches Claude Duet Proactive AI Agent

Anthropic has introduced Claude Duet, a proactive AI agent for professionals and small business owners, now in research preview for Pro and Max subscribers on web, iOS and Android. Duet sends a morning brief of priority items, monitors connected apps, and handles tasks like scheduling meetings, building dashboards, creating financial forecasts and prototyping web apps. Users interact by text or voice with no setup required. Built on Anthropic's trustworthy agents framework, Duet uses an automatic classifier to screen actions and confirm important steps with users before proceeding.
