Upwind Launches AI Agent Scanner, DR Goes Live
Cloud security startup Upwind Security has unveiled its AI Agent Context Scanner, a tool that inspects the instructions, tools and connections feeding AI agents before they act. The scanner continuously analyzes these components across endpoints, cloud infrastructure and managed AI providers to catch malicious or ambiguous instructions at runtime.
Upwind also moved its AI Detection and Response service into general availability. AI DR baselines agent behavior, flags deviations in real time and correlates activity across workload identity, network topology and data sensitivity. The company, valued at $1.5 billion after a $250 million funding round in January, argues that static AI inventory alone is insufficient for securing autonomous agents in production environments.
