Anthropic Offers Free AI Security Scans for Open Source

Anthropic has launched OSS Scanner, a free service that provides periodic security scans for open-source projects using its most capable AI models. Projects that opt in will receive automated reports flagging potential vulnerabilities at no cost. However, the service comes with a notable limitation: scan reports are not reviewed by human experts before being delivered to project maintainers.
