Trent AI Raises $13M to Secure AI Agents

London-based Trent AI has launched with $13 million in seed funding led by LocalGlobe and Cambridge Innovation Capital. Founded by former AWS engineers, the startup uses AI agents to detect cybersecurity vulnerabilities in other AI agents and their generated code. The platform deploys four agent groups to find exploits, rank threats by severity, suggest fixes, and track security changes over time. Trent AI claims its technology outperforms traditional cybersecurity tools at identifying complex, multi-step attack paths in AI-driven systems.
