NewCore Raises $66M to Secure AI Agent Identities

NewCore Ltd. has launched a security-first identity platform for AI agents following a $66 million seed round led by Cyberstarts, with participation from Index Ventures and Evolution Equity Partners. The startup addresses critical gaps in existing identity systems, which were built for humans and are ill-equipped to handle autonomous AI agents. The platform treats AI agents as first-class identities with their own lifecycles, trust scores and revocation paths. Key features include Secure SplitKeys to eliminate Golden SAML attacks, hardware-bound credentials for humans and governance tools compatible with coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor. The platform is now generally available.
