Helix Launches With $10B to Build AI Infrastructure
An investor consortium including KKR, Nvidia, Kuwait Investment Authority, and energy utility Vistra has launched Helix Digital Infrastructure Inc. with over $10 billion in capital commitments. Former AWS CEO Adam Selipsky leads the company, which will build AI data centers for hyperscaler cloud providers using Nvidia's DSX technology suite.
Helix aims to be a one-stop infrastructure provider, investing in data centers, fiber-optic networks, and energy assets including generation facilities and power lines. Vistra will serve as its preferred power provider, with its 44-gigawatt generation capacity supporting Helix's buildout.
