Swiss Robotics Startup Enact Intelligence Raises $30M

Swiss robotics startup Enact Intelligence, officially Eta Robotics AG, has raised $30 million in pre-seed funding from a consortium including AI researcher Yann LeCun, Mistral AI CEO Arthur Mensch, and Hugging Face co-founder Thomas Wolf, alongside several venture capital firms. Founded earlier in 2026 by CEO Manuel Yves Galliker, a veteran of Physical Intelligence and 1X Technologies, Enact is building AI models designed to control a wide range of robot form factors rather than specific ones. The company is also developing actuators that function as sensors, and plans to use FPGAs to power its robots.
