Schmidt Owns 1% of Anthropic, Worth $20B

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt reportedly owns about 1% of Anthropic after investing tens of millions in the AI lab's 2021 Series A round, when the startup was valued at $461 million. That stake is roughly half the 2% held by co-founder and CEO Dario Amodei. With Anthropic expected to go public this year at valuations as high as $2 trillion, Schmidt's stake could add up to $20 billion to his current net worth of $57.5 billion. Schmidt also holds AI investments in Mistral, General Intuition, and Reflection AI.
