Rocket Software is expanding its Enterprise Virtual Assistant platform with EVA 2.0, introducing PlanGuard, a security layer that evaluates AI agent actions before execution on mainframe systems. The update targets enterprises wanting generative AI capabilities while preserving existing identity controls, policy enforcement and audit trails. Pilot results show significant time savings, with one South American bank resolving a three-week investigation in under a day. PlanGuard integrates with established mainframe security managers like RACF and creates tamper-evident audit trails, ensuring agent actions remain traceable to identifiable people and policies.
