Pax8 launches AI governance OS and managed coworker

Pax8 launched 8os, an operating system letting IT service provider partners govern AI agents across their small business customers, and 8bot, a managed AI coworker deployed through 8os. Both were unveiled at the Beyond EMEA conference in Copenhagen. The launch targets a governance gap Pax8 identified in its SMB AI Pulse surveys: nine in 10 small businesses use or experiment with AI, only 23% have a documented policy, and nearly half reported finding unsanctioned shadow AI in the past six months. Limited early access opens this week, with general availability planned for early 2027.
