Celigo launches MCP platform to govern enterprise AI agents
Celigo has announced its Model Context Protocol Management platform, giving IT and security teams centralized control over how AI assistants and agents access enterprise systems. MCP, introduced by Anthropic in 2024 as an open-source standard, connects AI agents to databases, business apps, and APIs. Without governance, these agents risk unauthorized access, errors, or hijacking by malicious actors. Celigo's platform provides an MCP Gateway to control tool access per user, a registry to discover all MCP servers, and full audit trails tracing every AI action back to an individual, covering more than 1,000 integrated business applications.
