Axonius launches AI virtual workers for security teams

Axonius has added AI Workforce to its Asset Cloud platform, offering over 50 types of autonomous virtual workers that handle security remediation tasks such as exposure triage, shadow AI monitoring, and post-quantum cryptography readiness. Each worker tracks an outcome metric and feeds results into a ranked Daily Digest. Teams control worker autonomy through Off, Shadow, and Live modes, with sensitive actions held for human approval. Two previously announced tools also reached general availability: the AI Companion for plain-language queries and the MCP Server for third-party agent access to asset data.
