Nvidia, Dell back doubleAI's $200M Series A
Tel Aviv-based doubleAI has raised $200 million in a Series A round co-led by Lightspeed and Bessemer, with participation from Nvidia and Dell, valuing the company at over $1 billion. The startup's AI model, Maxwell, optimizes software at the binary level without requiring source code changes, and has improved Nvidia's cuGraph library, sped up the pandas data science toolkit by 38x on a benchmark, doubled video generation speed for LTX-2.5, and broke a nearly 50-year chess record. DoubleAI plans to spend half the funding on 1,000 Nvidia B300 Blackwell GPUs.
