Nirva raises $25M for AI emotional insight jewelry
Nirva Labs has raised $25 million, bringing total funding to $33 million, to develop AI-powered jewelry that passively listens to users' days and surfaces emotional patterns and relationship insights via a companion app. Backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners and South Park Commons, the company's necklaces and bracelets are designed to remain attractive even without power. Unlike productivity-focused AI wearables, Nirva acts as a therapeutic journaling tool, recognizing the user's voice and optionally drawing from calendar, location, and health data. Priced at $249, orders open in November with first shipments expected by year-end.
