Gen Z Uses AI Daily But Increasingly Resents It
A Gallup survey of over 1,500 people aged 14 to 29 reveals Gen Z is growing deeply skeptical of AI despite heavy daily use. Excitement dropped 14 points since last year, anxiety affects 42% of respondents, and even daily users are becoming less optimistic.
The frustration stems from concerns about learning, creativity, and jobs. Eight in ten believe AI will hinder future learning, while 48% of employed Gen Zers say risks outweigh benefits. Still, nearly half of high schoolers believe AI skills will be essential for their careers.
