Gen Z Angrier About AI, Still Can't Quit
A new Gallup report based on nearly 1,600 Americans aged 14 to 29 shows Gen Z's enthusiasm for AI is fading fast. Excitement dropped from 36 to 22 percent since last year, while anger rose from 22 to 31 percent. Nearly half now believe workplace AI risks outweigh benefits, and 80 percent say using AI will make learning harder. Despite growing resentment, usage continues to climb slowly, with just over half using AI weekly. Many feel they have no choice, believing AI will be essential for education and careers.
