CoreWeave Lands Multiyear Cloud Deal With Anthropic

CoreWeave has secured a multiyear contract to supply Anthropic with cloud infrastructure, sending its shares up 11%. The deal will see data center capacity come online later this year to support development and deployment of Anthropic's Claude AI models, covering both training and inference workloads using a variety of Nvidia chips in U.S. data centers. The announcement follows CoreWeave's expanded deal with Meta and adds Anthropic to a client roster that already includes OpenAI, which committed $22.4 billion in infrastructure spending last year. CoreWeave now claims 9 of the world's top 10 AI model providers as customers and operates over 43 data centers with roughly 850 megawatts of capacity.
