Connect Claude Desktop to Web Search via AgentCore

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway lets Claude Desktop access Web Search, a fully managed MCP-compatible capability backed by an Amazon web index covering tens of billions of documents. This closes the model's training knowledge cutoff gap for real-time data like pricing, documentation, and weather. All query traffic stays within AWS infrastructure, requiring no external API keys. Authentication uses AWS IAM Identity Center federated through Amazon Cognito with JWT-based validation, keeping the entire identity chain inside AWS. The integration is available in US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo) regions.
