AWS Launches Voice Travel Concierge on Bedrock AgentCore
Amazon Web Services has detailed how to build a voice-enabled airline concierge using three managed services: Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon Nova Sonic, and Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases. The system lets travelers speak to change seats, check flight delays, update meal preferences, or request a live agent, without leaving an existing app. Built with the Strands Agents framework and deployed via AWS CDK, the architecture separates frontend, AI agent, and backend into distinct layers connected through the Model Context Protocol. Backend logic runs on Lambda and DynamoDB, with Amazon Cognito handling authentication and AWS Amplify hosting the React frontend.
