ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude crashed simultaneously

OpenAI's ChatGPT, xAI's Grok, and Anthropic's Claude all experienced outages simultaneously on Thursday, beginning around 11AM ET. ChatGPT's status page reported elevated errors across ChatGPT and Codex, blocking users from accessing the chatbot. All three AI services have since been restored and are back online. The simultaneous nature of the outages raised eyebrows, though no common cause has been publicly identified.
