Broadcom Bets Private Cloud Can Run Production AI

Enterprises moving AI from pilot to production are demanding turnkey solutions rather than self-assembled stacks. Broadcom's Prashanth Shenoy says VMware Cloud Foundation can serve as that unified platform, running AI agents and models on the same infrastructure already used for VMs and containers, with provisioning time cut from weeks to minutes. The VCF AI Factory includes 150 tested models, an AI gateway connecting to 40-plus cloud providers, and certified hardware from AMD and Nvidia. Security is a growing focus, with Broadcom launching a Frontier AI Security Readiness Program as AI-driven threats accelerate dramatically in speed and volume.
