Anthropic Secures 3.5 Gigawatts in Google-Broadcom Deal
Anthropic has expanded its compute agreements with Google and Broadcom, securing 3.5 gigawatts of processing capacity to power its Claude AI models. The new capacity, coming online in 2027, builds on an October 2025 deal and will be primarily housed in the U.S. as part of Anthropic's $50 billion domestic infrastructure commitment. The expansion comes as Anthropic's growth surges dramatically. The company's run rate revenue has jumped to $30 billion from $9 billion at end of 2025, it recently closed a $30 billion Series G round valuing it at $380 billion, and it now counts over 1,000 businesses spending more than $1 million annually on its services.
