Amazon Brings Alexa+ to India With Hindi

Amazon has launched its AI-powered Alexa+ assistant in India with support for Hindi and English, including mid-sentence language switching. The assistant can handle multi-step tasks, maintain conversational context, and integrates with local services like Swiggy, Zomato's District, MakeMyTrip, and JioSaavn. Alexa+ is currently available in Early Access at no cost. After the testing period, it will be free for Prime members, while non-Prime users will pay ₹2,000 per month. India, home to over 600 million Hindi speakers, is a key market for Amazon's expanding global Alexa+ rollout.
