Amazon Adds AI Audio Q&A To Product Pages

Amazon launched a new feature called Join the chat, allowing shoppers to ask questions about products and receive real-time conversational audio responses from AI-powered shopping experts. The tool aims to replicate the experience of speaking with a knowledgeable store employee, with each question shaping the direction of the conversation. The feature is part of a broader Hear the highlights experience, offering audio summaries on millions of product pages in the Amazon Shopping app. It joins a growing suite of AI tools from Amazon, including the Rufus assistant, Interests tracker, and Help me decide recommendation tool.
