Akuity Launches Governed Control Plane for AI Agents

Akuity has introduced Agentic Control Plane, a layer that lets AI agents interact with its software delivery pipeline under existing user permissions, eliminating shared service accounts and adding full audit trails. A companion product, Akuity MCP Server, connects agents via the Model Context Protocol. The platform gives agents access to deployment history, cluster health and change lineage, allowing engineers to query an entire fleet at once. Major League Baseball reported the tool surfaced over 100 degraded applications within hours and traced a systemic issue to its root cause in under 10 minutes.
