Action State Launches Open-Source AI Agent Verification Tools

Action State Group has released open-source tools to help businesses independently verify what AI agents did during cross-company transactions. The suite includes EvidenceBook, which stores tamper-evident signed transaction records; Terms Packs, which evaluate agent behavior against regulatory or business rules including the EU AI Act; and Countersign, an independent verification service. Unlike observability tools focused on internal systems, Action State targets cross-boundary agent interactions. The tools verify cryptographic and structural properties but cannot confirm that agreements were satisfied or that all actions were captured. Human review remains a required part of the workflow.
