Known Systems AI Launches to Tackle Agent Accountability

Identity Digital has spun out a new company called Known Systems AI to address the growing accountability gap in AI agent deployment. The spinout builds on DNSid, an open framework using DNS, public key infrastructure and blockchain to give AI agents persistent, traceable identities tied to their creators. As AI agents increasingly operate across organizational boundaries, existing identity tools fail to establish clear accountability at scale. Known Systems AI will pursue DNSid as an open standard, with backing from Identity Digital and Ethos Capital, while Allie Kline serves as interim CEO.
