1Password lets AI agents log in without seeing passwords

1Password has launched 1Password for Agents, a sign-in platform that allows personal AI agents from Meta, Anthropic, OpenAI, and SpaceXSI to access accounts without ever receiving the actual password. Instead, a unique digital key identifies the agent, and the account owner must approve each login on their own device before 1Password fills in the credentials itself. OpenAI's ChatGPT Work, Meta's Muse, and SpaceXSI's Grok Bot are among the launch partners. Anthropic's Claude Duet agent is coming soon. Nine additional companies, including Perplexity AI and Browserbase, are building integrations.
