Trellix launches AI security ops for private cloud

Trellix has launched Trellix Wise for Private Cloud, enabling enterprises to run its AI security operations engine entirely within their own environments. The product addresses concerns about sending sensitive telemetry to public clouds, unpredictable token costs, and lack of decision transparency. Each AI outcome includes a plain-language explanation and confidence level for governance auditing, with no token-based billing. Separately, a Vanson Bourne survey of 600 CISOs found AI-driven systems were behind 28% of insider incidents, while 40% cited distrust of automated decision-making as a barrier to adoption.
