xAI Invests $300M for Grok in Telegram - Telegram has partnered with Elon Musk's AI company, xAI, to integrate the Grok chatbot into its platform for one year. As part of the deal, xAI will pay $300 million in cash and equity to Telegram. Additionally, Telegram will receive 50% of the revenue from xAI subscriptions bought through the app.
Grok is already available to Telegram's premium users and may now be accessible to all users. The chatbot offers features like writing suggestions, chat summarization, and moderation assistance, similar to integrations seen with Meta AI on Instagram and WhatsApp.
