WordPress Establishes New AI Team - WordPress announced the creation of an AI team to develop AI products within its developer community. The team includes experts such as James LePage from Automattic, Google's Felix Arntz and Pascal Birchler, and Jeff Paul from 10up. This initiative aims to streamline AI efforts and align them with WordPress's long-term goals.
With 660 AI plugins already available, popular tools include AI-powered template builders and SEO optimizers. Mary Hubbard, WordPress Executive Director, highlighted the importance of a unified team to prevent fragmentation and boost AI-driven innovation.
