WhatsApp Launches Incognito Mode for Meta AI

Meta is rolling out incognito conversations with its Meta AI chatbot on WhatsApp and the standalone Meta AI app over the next few months. These chats are processed in a secure environment, not saved, and disappear when the session ends or the app is closed. The feature uses Meta's private processing infrastructure and its latest Llama Spark model. Meta is also developing Side Chat, which will let users privately consult Meta AI within group chats without other participants seeing it. The move follows legal concerns that AI chatbot conversations could be used against users in litigation.
