Vinci raises $250M for physics-driven chip simulation AI
Silicon Valley startup Vinci4D has built a physics-driven AI platform that accelerates chip design simulation up to 1,000 times faster than conventional tools, reducing turnaround from two weeks to one day after a design change. The company, co-founded by Stanford-trained CEO Hardik Kabaria, works with AMD, whose hardware runs Vinci's inference workloads. AMD Ventures joined Advent, Temasek and Xora in leading a $250 million Series B round that values Vinci at $1.5 billion. Kabaria described the goal as shipping physics software at inference speed so engineers can answer design questions almost instantly.
