Vast Data Launches Secure AI Enclave for Sensitive Data

Vast Data has introduced DataEnclave, a confidential computing environment enabling companies to run AI models on sensitive data without exposing the data or model intellectual property. Built on Nvidia's confidential computing technology, it creates hardware-isolated environments with encrypted memory and cryptographic attestation, targeting banks, healthcare providers, and government agencies. DataEnclave supports deployment in customer data centers, AI clouds, and air-gapped environments. Partners include Cohere, CrowdStrike, Cisco, and Supermicro. The capability is included in Vast's existing AI Operating System at no extra cost, with general availability scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
