UiPath Returns to Profit, But Guidance Disappoints
UiPath posted first-quarter revenue of $418.4 million, up 17% year-over-year and ahead of estimates, while swinging to a net profit of $22.5 million from a $22.6 million loss a year ago. CEO Daniel Dines credited growing adoption of the company's agentic AI products, with 16 of its top 20 deals including AI and agentic components.
Despite the strong quarter, investors were unmoved. UiPath's full-year revenue guidance of $1.78 billion only slightly topped analyst expectations, and analysts warned the company must prove it can monetize its agentic offerings. The stock fell more than 3% in after-hours trading and is down 29% year-to-date.
