Tutor Intelligence Unveils Gen-2 Warehouse Robots With AI Classroom
Tutor Intelligence has launched second-generation warehouse robots Cassie and Sonny, powered by its Ti0 Vision Language Action model. Cassie, a large single-arm mobile robot, can lift 50 pounds and move pallets, while Sonny is a dual-armed semi-humanoid designed for bin-picking tasks among shelves. To solve robotics' data shortage problem, Tutor built Data Factory 1, a 100-robot classroom where Sonny units learn tasks taught by remote human tutors. Robots are rewarded or penalized based on performance, enabling recursive self-improvement. The company raised $34 million in Series A funding in December.
