Stability AI Unveils 3D Scene Model from Photos - Stability AI has introduced Stable Virtual Camera, an AI model that converts 2D images into 3D scenes with realistic depth and perspective. This model can create videos with dynamic camera movements, such as Spiral and Dolly Zoom, from up to 32 images. However, the quality may be lower in complex scenes or with dynamic textures.
The model is available under a non-commercial license on Hugging Face. This launch comes after Stabilty AI's recent restructuring, which involved appointing James Cameron to the board and collaborating with chipmaker Arm on audio-generating AI models.
