Runway Unveils Gen-4 AI Video Generator - Runway AI Inc. has introduced Gen-4, an advanced AI video generator that creates videos from natural language prompts. This model enhances image generation by maintaining visual consistency across frames, allowing objects to maintain their appearance despite environmental changes. It also facilitates image editing, including the combination of illustrations.
Initially, Gen-4 supports five- to 10-second video clips, with potential updates for longer sequences. This launch coincides with OpenAI disabling Soras video features temporarily due to high demand.
