Resect AI Raises $25M to Fix Hallucinations
Seattle-based Resect AI has launched with $25 million in private equity funding to build an accountability layer for enterprise AI, targeting hallucinations at runtime. The startup aims to open the black box of large language models through tools that observe, detect and surgically correct model misbehavior before false outputs occur. Resect's flagship offering, the NeuroWave Product Suite, is described as a polygraph for neural networks. The company has already published two fact-checking models on HuggingFace based on the Qwen3 architecture, with its 0.6B model outperforming standard Qwen3 by 7.4% on factuality benchmarks. Funding will support R&D and hiring in Seattle and Portland.
