Reflection AI Signs $6.3B SpaceX Compute Deal
Open source AI startup Reflection AI has signed a $6.3 billion compute deal with SpaceX, paying $150 million monthly from July 2026 through 2029 for access to Nvidia GB300 chips at SpaceX's Colossus 2 data center near Memphis, Tennessee. The deal includes a 90-day cancellation option after the first three months.
The contract is smaller than SpaceX's deals with Anthropic and Google, which cost $1.25 billion and $920 million per month respectively. Founded in 2024 by former Google DeepMind researchers, Reflection AI says the deal represents one of the largest open AI infrastructure commitments announced to date.
