Pie Raises $19.5M for Small Business AI Marketing

Pie Tech Inc. has launched with $19.5 million in funding to offer AI-powered marketing tools for small businesses. The platform includes AI Search for visibility on tools like ChatGPT, Growth for ad campaigns on Google Maps and Yelp, and a new product called Front Desk that answers calls and books appointments around the clock. Founded by former Square and Toast executives, Pie targets the gap between expensive agency contracts and ineffective generic software. The company claims customers see 15 to 20 percent annual sales growth. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round, bringing Pie's total funding to $23.7 million.
